Lose your fear of wrong notes; keep calm and control off-target notes.
With this exercise, learn to consciously align your voice and let go of the fear of singing wrong notes. Move slowly and with control. To begin, stay with the deliberate process of listen, sense, sing. While singing, perceive the new pitch and guide your voice toward it evenly and calmly. Pay attention to a slow glissando. To help, imagine an airplane in ascent or descent, and avoid jumping straight to the new pitch with your voice.
