Enjoy the intense experience of your sound, and explore the different sound registers of your voice.
Direct your resonance center first into the lows, then into the mids, and finally into the highs. Take your time with each register. Sing freely on a single tone, in wave-like patterns, or on melodies of your own choice. Enjoy the vibrations and sense them physically with your hands. Stay open and relaxed, using a deep, relaxed breath flow. Internalize the sound character of each register, along with the mental images that help you access them. In your workbook under “My Range,” write down the pitches where it feels especially comfortable for you to sing lows, mids, and highs.
